Using Findster Duo+ as a pet activity tracker

Findster Duo+ includes a pet activity tracker, which can help you make sure your pet is healthy!

In a walk (location + activity)

If you are in a walk, you'll track both your pet's location and activity, and the battery will last for an estimate of 12 hours. Here's how to "start a walk":

1. Turn on your modules.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth and the GPS of your smartphone.
3. Wait for the modules to connect.
4. Tap on "Start walking" in the Home screen of the Findster App, while keeping the Pet module about 15 feet / 5 meters from your smartphone.
5. Activity and location will be updated every 10 seconds, regardless of where you are.

Not in a walk (activity only)

As soon as you turn on your Pet module and connect it, you'll only be tracking your pet's activity, and the battery will last for an estimate of 7 days. Here's how to use Findster as an activity tracker:

1. Turn on the Pet module; you can shut down the Guardian in the meantime, as it is not needed when you're not in a walk.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth and the GPS of your smartphone.
3. Wait for the modules to connect.
4. Activity will be updated every time you pull down* the Home screen of the Findster App, as long as the Pet module is about 15 feet / 5 meters from your smartphone. Location won't be tracked.
