I've received new modules as a replacement. How do I pair them?
Before pairing the new modules, you must first remove the old ones from your profile. Please read these instructions and follow the ones that apply to your case:
I received a new Guardian module or a new full kit as a replacement
- Open the Findster App.
- Go to Profile → Devices tab → tap the Guardian module → select Remove. This will also automatically remove any Pet module(s) paired with it.
- You can now pair the new modules, as instructed in our quick setup tutorial.
I received one/several new Pet module(s) as a replacement
Imagine you have two dogs - let's call them Max and Ruby - and the Pet module of the latter has been replaced. Here's how you should proceed:
- Open the Findster App.
- Go to Profile → Devices tab → tap on Ruby's old module → select Remove.
- Then, go to Profile → Devices tab → Add new Findster.
- Finally, you can pair the new module, as instructed in our quick setup tutorial.
